Overview of the Role:
The Technician will work as part of the Maintenance team in providing Utilities in support of the client's business Tasks include, but are not limited to Plant rounds;
preventative maintenance, and plant repairs.
Shift allowance is 26.6%. Shift is 12-hour shifts - 4on and 4 off. One-third of nights and two-thirds of days
Base pay 55K
Day to Day of the Role:
● Rounds & readings of utilities systems (Water treatment; Waste Water neutralisation;
Carbon Dioxide recovery, Nitrogen generation, Compressed air and refrigeration
systems
● Shift position 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off. 2 thirds days 1 third nights
● Review spare parts requirements
● Complete on-site and vendor training
● Operation of site utilities in support of projects & commissioning
● Assist in definition of site safety systems
● Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules
and guidelines
● Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice
and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements
● Keep training current in line with client’s requirements, i.e. SOP’s (Standard
Operating Procedures),.
● All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health
and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines
Required Skills for the Role:
● Electrical engineering degree or diploma desirable
● 5 years industrial experience in a similar role
● Electrical/ Instrumentation Senior Trade, City & Guilds or equivalent
● Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical
● All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health
and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines
